Kathleen Quint is a fourth generation Californian. She went to California State University, Northridge, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication. She earned her teaching credential at San Jose State University in English. Mrs. Quint came to Pioneer High in 2004. She teaches 9th grade English.
Mrs. Quint is married and has three children who attend elementary, middle, and high school in San Jose Unified. She lives in the Almaden Valley and often runs into students and former students up and down the Blossom Hill Road area. Mrs. Quint spends most weekends cheering on her children at their assorted extra curricular activities like soccer games, swim meets, and dance recitals. She plays the flute and is a parent volunteer band teacher at Simonds Elementary. Mrs. Quint enjoys books, movies, and chocolate.
