Steve Boyd is in his 7th year teaching at Pioneer. He attended college at San Jose State University where he received a B.S. in Biological Sciences. He is credentialed in Life Science which he also received from San Jose State. Since being hired to teach at Pioneer, he has taught Integrated Science, Biology, and Physiology. This year he will also run the Clean Streams Clean Bay (CSCB) program. Boyd (as he is known around campus) coordinates the Orlando Science Club in which he takes a group of sophomores on an educational tour of the theme parks in Orlando Florida once a year. Additionally, he is the JV Girls Volleyball coach and assistant coach for Varsity Baseball. In his leisure time he enjoys scuba diving, snow skiing, wakeboarding, hiking, mountain-biking, or just connecting with friends, but above all he loves watching the Dodgers.
